About Dusty
Dusty is a gorgeous 5 month old kelpie cross. He has settled in amazingly to his foster home and has beautiful home manners. This awesome little dude walks well on the lead and loves to chase a tennis ball at the park... actually he becomes very excited by the idea of a game of fetch and exhausts himself rather quickly because he gets so excited.... he is however still learning to bring the ball right back once he has caught it. Nothing really fazes this little guy. He gets along well with other dogs and kids. He is toilet trained.
Dusty is a very quick learner, so ideally his new home will continue with his training and make dusty into the most amazing dog. Being a kelpie cross, he will need an active home (both physically and mentally stimulating) to keep him from getting bored. He would suit a home with or without dogs.

OUR ADOPTION PROCESS
1. You see a dog you like.
2. Fill in our online adoption form by clicking here or on our website. Be sure to include any questions you may have on our adoption form. This form does not obligate you to adopt, it simply gives us an idea of your situation and needs.

3. If your are successful, one of our volunteers will contact you to organise a meet and greet at your home and conduct a yard check at the same time.
4. Should all go to plan, you will be welcomed to start your 2 week trial period immediately. Adoption fee will be required to be paid at the beginning of the trial period.
During the 2 week trial period, should you decide that this dog is not for you, you are welcome to return the dog (the more notice the better, to ensure we have a foster carer available) and your payment will be retunded to you in full, within 3 business days of the return of the dog.

We are a volunteer run organisation, who have their own jobs during the day, we don't have someone manning our phones 24/7, therefore cannot respond to all inquiries immediately. The fastest way to have your questions answered is to include it in the application form. This will speed up your application with us, and help us communicate with you faster.
Please be patient with us, as the unpredictable nature of rescue may prevent us from clearing all enquiries regularly.
