About Tigerlilly & Ginny
Meet Mumma Tigerlilly and Daughter Ginny..
This is a sad story and I would love for them to find a loving home together.
Tigerlilly & Ginny were owned by there loving mum and were very happy until she gave birth to her son. Her son was born premie and was born with part of his stomach on the outside. He couldn’t have the cats around as he was also allergic to them so the owner had to rehome them both.
She found what she thought was a loving home and they went together. Months went by and she went to visit them and Tigerlilly was missing and she had been gone for 8 weeks, Ginny was lonely and depressed until one day Mumma finally came back and they were together again. The new owner didn’t really care much about them and it turned out that he was only spending $10-$15 a fortnight on them and they were skinny and hungry.
After a few I weeks he informed the old owner that he didn’t want them anymore and was sending them to the pound.
This is when we were contacted to see if we could take them in. Our rescue was so full that I decided to take them in personally as the original owner was so upset and was very genuine and couldn’t take them back due to her sick baby and had no family to help.
I am asking for a loving safe home where they can stay together and be loved. They are both very beautiful loving cats and have had a rough few months.
Mum is 3 and daughter is 1 can you open up your home and hearts to them ?

Adoption details
Before Adoption:
Before adopting a new pet, ensure all family members understand that a pet is an emotional and financial commitment that you need to be prepared to love, house and keep safe for the next 15 to 20 years. This means premium nutrition, preventative health care, regular veterinary check-ups and keeping them inside or only having access to a cat proof area or yard. Pet insurance with accident and illness cover gives you piece of mind knowing your pet can get the veterinary care they may need and you don’t have to worry about if the expense.
We start off by either emailing you our adoption questionnaire or having a chat on the phone to get some details about who you are and what you’re looking for in a feline companion. Next step is to organise a meet and greet. Depending on your location, we bring the feline/s to you or you can come and visit the orphanage. There is usually a 24hour wait from the meet and greet to collecting your new family member so everyone has a night to think things over and so you have a chance to get your home repaired. If all goes well and everyone is happy, the adoption paperwork is signed and you collect your new family member.
All adoptions are subject to a two week settling in period. If for any reason your new addition is not suited to your lifestyle, you are welcome to return them for a full refund of the adoption fee. All adoptions come with an adoption pack which contains all their certificates and paperwork, information on preventative health care, diet, pet insurance and potential toxins/poisons around the home.
After adoption, we continue to provide ongoing advice and support in order to help you care for your new family member. To find out more about any of our orphans, please contact Alexandria at Kittie Kat Rescue, after the settling period we will always take back the cat no questions asked.
