Taco

Handsome Taco came to us from the Pound, where he was surrendered by a young mother who took him and his two siblings in to help out a relative.
Unfortunately she wasn’t able to cope with her own menagerie and three puppies as well.

Taco is a short haired Border Collie x Kelpie and a very nice intelligent boy. He pays attention to what you’re asking of him and picks things up quickly.

He was a dream to photograph. During his photo session, the other puppies were constantly jumping on him and wanting to play, but Taco kept his mind on the job and his eye on the camera and his concentration never wavered.
His ability to keep his mind on the job, will take him far in his training as distractions are usually a bit of an obstacle to overcome during early training sessions.

He has good basic manners and is a good boy on the leash.

Taco would love an active home. He would excel at activities such as agility, flyball or as a jogging or cycling companion. He would also be quite satisfied with less structured activities such as another active dog for companionship and play and off leash runs at the beach, river, lake or dog parks.

Taco’s in care at Moree, NSW. Moree has daily flights to Sydney and further afield. It would cost around $220 to fly Taco to Sydney (at adopter’s expense).
