About Winter
Winter came to us because her owner had to move back to home to have a baby and her parents already had a dog who would not accept a young shepherd pup. Winter has a lovely nature and is a typical young dog who needs some training. We have had her hips checked and x-rayed and she has no signs of hip dysplasia. She would make a lovely family dog but she is fascinated by cats and sit and watch them for hours. Not sure what would happen if one got out and ran. She is desexed, immunised, chipped and treated regularly for parasites
Adoption details
HappyPaws Haven is fussy about who adopts these animals and where they are housed and cared for. The adoption criteria is documented as a questionnaire and strictly adhered to. We do not adopt animals to people who rent unless they are long term rental at the same address and have landlords written permission.
We ask if they have thought about the attributes they want in a dog, lifestyle, childrens ages, prepared to train, etc. We also talk about responsible pet ownership, fully fenced yards, hours unattended etc. and finally a vet reference.
