Neo is a happy-go-lucky boy with lots of energy and bounce. He is a funny, intelligent chap who loves to be told he’s a good boy, say it and watch half his body wag. He rolls onto his back for belly scratches at the first sign of a hand coming towards him. If you stop, he will use his paw to pull your hand back in for more (see video).

He is dog friendly but would suit an only dog home as he’d rather not share his bed, toys and humans with others. He is not fond of cats and other pocket pets and is nervous of children so is looking for a home with no kids.

He is a born explorer, so loves his walks. He will thoroughly test out his new surroundings so needs a secure yard. It is clear Neo has spent all his life outside but he desperately wants to be inside and involved in your life. He hasn’t quite got the hang of being a lap dog yet but will jump up on the couch for a pat and will then toddle off to his bed when you’re done. He knows sit, is crate trained, is smart and treat motivated so will pick up training quickly.

He is now understanding the rules of the house and is very responsive to verbal cues of ah ah and no, so is making leaps and bounds with toilet training in the short time he’s been in care.
