About Ronny -Vaccinated and Desexed
*on hold*
meet ronny, a bunny brought to the pound after he was found by a member of the public. Ronny found a wonderful home, but unfortuneately the resident female house bunny did not approve of him and he eventually had to return to rescue. Found in march. Poor ronny, we suspect he was born in the wild and as such is quite traumatised around humans. We didn't think he had much chance of being rehomed so considered not taking him, however after a few moments of handling he settled and being so young, we can see there is potential for this boy. We're hoping that in rescue he will become trusting but it is a long road ahead of him, and something an owner would have to continue with positive reinforcement. *update 10th april: ronny has shown himself to be most intelligent and willing to please. He has gained a lot of confidence during our rehabilitation sessions, and you would hardly recognise him for a feral bunny any more. He loves his pats and is now easy to pick up and put down. He does not kick or scratch, and looks forward to his daily interaction. He'll make such a beautiful pet for someone! he would love to find his new home soon. He may be an "ordinary domestic" when you look through some of the more pedigree animals we've listed, but if you're looking for a quiet boy to spend time with, a bunny who wants to sit on your lap, and to make a difference, you can't go past our ronny :) *
ronny deserves a special and caring home, without children under 12yrs. *thank you karyn t, richard and lai n, and jennifer w for your kind donations so ronny can be desexed. *

Medical notes
Vaccinated -please note that due to the release of calici virus on march the 1st, 2010, all bunnies adopted from us will be vaccinated. Please allow for an increase in the adoption fee to cover this large expense. Desexing normally costs anywhere from $100-$360. Vaccinations are from $40-80 (costs differ between vet clinics). Therefore please don't try to haggle the price of the animal for adoption. If you can't afford the adoption fee, you certainly wont afford the ongoing costs associated with animals
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
