About Effie
Meet our adorable Effie. Effie is a purebred Scottish Terrier who came into care a few months ago. She came in with very itchy skin which we have been trying to eliminate the cause of. Effie will no doubt have occasional flare ups of itchiness throughout her life so her new owners will need to be prepared to care for her adequately with medicated baths and supplements and special diet for her skin .
Effie is such an adorable dog - but she also needs a firm hand on introductions as she lacks exposure and can be typical terrier! Although recently she has been living with a pug standard poodle and maremma - all rescue dogs and she has adapted very well indeed.
Effie is a quiet little dog in general - she could be a perfect apartment pooch! We are also happy to arrange introductions with your pooch.
HOWEVER - DEFINITELY NO CATS - and preferably no access to grass as grass is definitely an irritant.
Effie will be a sheer delight for someone willing to put the time and effort into her. We love her to pieces!

Medical notes
All our Celebrities are wormed, flea treated on admission to the program. They are also vaccinated and microchipped. They are also sterilized or Adoption fees include a voucher for sterilization at our supporting vets if they are not already done.
Effie has been micro chipped and sterilized and ready for her new adventure!
She will be provided with sensitive skin biscuits and some more information on how to manage her condition.

Introductions are currently being conducted via appointments.
We cannot guarantee the any of our “Celebrities” will still be available unless we have a confirmed viewing appointment. Priority extended to all pre-arranged appointments to view.
