Adoption information
I've been adopted!
About Sandy
Sandy is a little bundle of firecrackers who is always happy to see you, your neighbour, your friends – anyone who will give her some pats! She is enthusiastic and so excited when meeting new people that she hops up and down and loves to tell you how pleased she is to meet you!
Sandy has also been eager to meet other dogs but wants to get to the playing part straight away. She would love to learn how to introduce herself nicely so that she makes a good first impression and can make new friends to run around with. She might benefit from a home whose current furry family member can teach her how to be calm and polite with other dogs.
Sandy hasn’t had a chance to do much training but does know sit and is treat motivated so would fit right into a home which would enjoy teaching her the basics such as walking on a lead and waiting for pats.
If you’re looking for a family member who will always celebrate your return from work and who will be keen to join you on your adventures, then drop in and met the lively Sandy!
Adoption details
The adoption process at the Companion Animal Facility is relatively easy. We ask that if you are interested in a animal, please attend our facility in Goulburn to meet the animal and the Ranger team so that we can make sure that the animal is the right match for you. We do not take expressions of interest over the phone or via email.
Once you have decided on which future pet you would like to adopt from the facility, all that is required by you is to make a payment at the Companion Animal Facility by either cash, cheque or eftpos, provide details for the microchip and registration paperwork and then pick up your future pet from the Council veterinary service provider once they have been de-sexed and vaccinated (Council staff will advise you when the animal is booked in at the veterinary clinic. This usually falls within 14 days of the purchase).
The following are the re-homing fees for dogs and cats,
Entire Dog - $265.00
De-sexed Dog (de-sexed by previous owner) - $165.00
Entire Cat - $185.00
De-sexed Cat (de-sexed by previous owner) - $115.00
The following is included with all sales,
Microchipping (identification details will be placed on the NSW Companion Animal Register)
Lifetime Registration (within NSW)

De-sexing (if required)
Please Note: All dogs and cats rescued from the Companion Animal Facility are required to be de-sexed. Dogs and cats will not be sold as entire under any circumstances.
