Hi, my name is Blossom and I am such a pretty, smart girl who is looking for humans to love me. I am not just some dog to be left in the yard to do her own thing, I really want to be part of your daily life. If you are looking for a companion dog who never leaves your side, then look no further than me. Although I love other doggies, my primary focus in life is being with humans. I am best suited to a family that has someone at home most of the time. I am perfectly behaved when left alone in the house as foster mum has had to do that on occasion and has come home to find intact furniture and no toilet accidents.
I have a very short coat that requires no brushing and doesn’t shed a lot. I currently live with three primary school aged children and three other dogs. So I would be happy in an extended family with other fur and human siblings if you have them. My favourite things in life are people and sitting on your lap. I seem to think that I am a lap dog, so anytime you sit down, there I will be. I also love food, so I am super easy to train as I love treats.
I am not a high energy dog and would prefer just to hang with my humans. One walk a day or some ball time suits my needs. I am good at fetch but I sometimes forget that the ball has to be brought back. I have good manners and will sit and wait for my food.
I really need to be seen to be appreciated as my winning smile and happy personality doesn’t really show in photos. I am a real sweetheart who wants to please. If you think I am the right fit for your family, please fill in an application and my foster mum will arrange for you to meet me in person. See you soon!

Adoption details
~ ADOPTION PROCESS ~
STEP 1: An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
** PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT DO INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS ** We require all animals to have a meet & greet with their new family before they are officially adopted, no exceptions. If you are willing and able to meet the dog in person, we are happy to accomodate the adoption.
STEP 2: If successful, our foster carer will be in touch within 24-48 hours.
STEP 3: A 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
STEP 4: The animal MUST not be taken on the day unless PRIOR ARRANGED (travelling over a 4 hr round trip), we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
STEP 5: A 10 day trial period commences once the animal has been collected from the foster carer.
STEP 6: The Adoption is the finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email after this period. Please note this can take up to 4 weeks pending on the microchip paperwork.
Sorry we can’t take calls, as our rescue is run entirely by volunteers, but we endeavour to respond to your email within 24 - 48 hours. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
** PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT HOLD ANY ANIMALS SO PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE READY TO ADOPT NOW. **
