Venus, a beautiful, good natured lady; is the goddess of love
Never a truer word spoken about beautiful Venus. After she showers you with love and affection with a double pawed hug venus loves nothing more than having a good play. Whether that be with another doggy friend, with the cat or simply on her own.
Venus is a well rounded, even tempered happy-go-lucky pup. She doesn’t mind if you leave her for your busy day at work - so long as she has some company with another fur friend.
She is fully toilet trained and is extremely smart. She already knows how to sit and lay down and is currently learning how to wait for her dinner.
Venus doesn’t cry or whimper and is happy to sleep outside all night without a peep.
She is good in the car and curls up in a ball and falls asleep as long as she has her teddy by her side.
She will make a great addition to any family - even one with young kids - as she doesn’t nip when she plays and has learnt wonderful manners whilst in her foster home.
If any furry friends at home, they must be of the opposite sex.
Venus is located in Kippa Ring, QLD.

Venus will be desexed, vaccinated & microchipped.
While we are accepting applications and Venus is available for meet and greets, pickup by her successful adoption will be after vetwork complete (desex and 2nd vacc) on or about 25th February 2019.
Venus has previously been in contact with a puppy that tested positive to parvovirus. Venus has been tested twice, at the time of contact and again two weeks later and returned a negative result both times. She is happy and healthy. The other puppy was treated and has made a full recovery.

Safe Haven Animal Rescue Inc have a 10 day trial/settling period, if for any reason the pet needs to be returned, we will happily take them back into our care once a foster home is found and the adoption fee minus $50 (admin fee) will be returned via bank transfer within 5 working days. If the pet is returned after the trial period there will be no refund made.
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
2. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
3. The animal MUST not be taken on the day unless PRIOR ARRANGED (travelling over a 2 hr round trip), we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
4. 10 day trial period commences once the animal has been collected from foster carer.
5. Adoption is finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email.
