About Chia
Hi my name is Chia and I am an 11 week old Cattle dog cross puppy. My favourite things to do is play with my toys and foster brothers. I play so much that I have to lay down for naps during the day. My foster brothers are very patient with me but sometimes they get a bit impatient because I want to lick their faces and bite their legs. They are teaching me dog etiquette and I am learning quickly. They have taught me that if I sit I can get a treat when treats are being handed out. That first thing in the morning when I am let out of my crate, that I need to run outside and go to the toilet. I am full of curiosity and just a happy healthy girl. I like children and I leave the cat alone because the front end is sharp and pointy and I got a smack for trying to play with her like the dogs. I would suit an active family and a house where I am allowed to come inside and be with you but also allowed to go outside. Are you my family? I would love to meet you. Life is full of fun adventures and I want to do them all !

While we are accepting applications and Chia is available for meet and greets, pickup by her successful adoption will be after vetwork complete (desex and 2nd vacc) on or about 15th March 2019.

Completing this application form does not place you under any obligation to adopt.
Safe Haven Animal Rescue Inc have a 10 day trial/settling period, if for any reason the pet needs to be returned, we will happily take them back into our care once a foster home is found and the adoption fee minus $50 (admin fee) will be returned via bank transfer within 5 working days. If the pet is returned after the trial period there will be no refund made.
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
2. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
3. The animal MUST not be taken on the day unless PRIOR ARRANGED (travelling over a 2 hr round trip), we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
4. 10 day trial period commences once the animal has been collected from foster carer.
5. Adoption is finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email.
