About Dixie-Bell
Dixie-Bell was surrendered to the Pound because she was getting out of her owners yard with their two other dogs.
Since she’s been with me, she hasn’t gotten out once.
Dixie-Bell is a sweet little thing, she’s a very friendly, loyal girl who happily hangs out wherever we are, at the kennels, the house, the clothesline, the chook house or the stables. She’s great with our five little dogs and the cats. She made herself right at home among them from the moment she arrived.
She loves food, oh yes she really enjoys her food and she loves the company of her humans. Dixie-Bell is just as fond of men as she is of women. In fact, though she has the pick of several nice soft dog beds in our bedroom, she chooses to sleep on my husband’s clothes on the floor 😂.
Her house training is a work in progress - a home where she can’t be kept off the carpet might not be a good idea.
She’s a quiet girl and not yappy but she will bark at large, strange dogs that come to the door.
Dixie-Bell needs a home with retirees or at least semi-retirees - please no busy young families.
She’s in foster care at Moree, NSW.
We have daily flights to Sydney and further afield.
Medical notes
Vet checked, a healthy girl.
