Percy ~ Jack Russell x (on trial 21/2/19)

Hello everyone, my name is Percy and I’m a 1 year old Jack Russell X who is looking for a new mum and dad. My previous mum and dad had a couple of babies and couldn’t give me the attention that a good boy like me needs. They still love me though and really want me to find the very best of homes.

I’m only one year old, which means that in doggy years I’m still in primary school so I know that I’ve got a lot to learn, but there is a heap of really cool stuff that I do know. Like … I like other dogs (girl dogs are the best). I’m super friendly and stuff and I like sharing my toys and bed with them. I come when you call my name and I’m learning to sit on command. I’m not a nuisance jumper or barker or an escape artist and I don’t shed an excessive amount of hair so my foster mum says I have to be allowed inside.
I love playing fetch and tug-a-war with my little rope. I bring it back and drop it and everything. Sometimes I like to fake you out and I snatch it before you pick it up. Just to make sure you're paying attention. I can play for hours. I’ll teach you how to play when we meet.
Sometimes I still do dumb stuff like ... I like to play this game where I wait until your not watching and I sneak up on you and I jump onto your lap and I see how fast you can close your legs and you’re your arms around me before I fall off again.
I like to go on outings and walks. I’m friendly to everyone I meet. Sometime I walk a bit fast and I can pull on the lead a little, but hey, I’m 5kg wringing wet. I’m not about to pull your arm out of the socket. Hopefully my new mum and dad will teach me how to walk on the lead properly.
