About Pippa ~ Border Collie x (on trial 10/3/19)
Pippa is a 5 year old Border Collie cross who is a gorgeous brindle and white colour. Pippa loves to be around people and made to feel a part of the family as they go about their day to day business.
Pippa is good with other dogs of all sizes. She would benefit from the company of another dog who is of a quiet nature to match her own quiet nature. She would however also be fine to be an only dog. It is not known how she is with cats or pocket pets.
Pippa will need a family who is home more often than not. She has been escaping her yard to seek human company when she is left alone for long periods of time. This means the home she goes to will need very secure fencing, preferably colorbond.
Pippa is quiet lazy for her breed. She likes to sit around with the family and gets along well with children. Although not a chaser of balls, she does like to have soft toys to play with and would benefit from enrichment toys to prevent any unwanted behaviour. Pippa will also need a good walk every day to give her body the exercise it needs and her brain healthy stimulation.
Pippa is in foster care in Maryland, NSW (Lake Macquarie) and is available for adoption interstate. For more information or to meet Pippa, please contact Jaime by email jaihol@bigpond.com or on 0410 491 882, leaving a message with a name and contact details. (2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
