About Roxie
Purebred Australian Cattle Dog, Roxie’s mugshot from the Pound shows a very frightened little girl, barely able to stand, out of fear, a nervous wetter, hopeless on the lead said the Ranger.
This little sweetheart deserved my help and I’m so glad I took her in.
I have put a little time in with her and oh she’s a delight! She’s one of the fastest learners I’ve ever met, extremely happy to please - very easy to train, full of confidence now.
She does this cute little excited wiggle, when she’s happy!
Roxie was very fearful of anything around her neck and struggled with the leash initially, so I put her in a harness and she loves it!
Because I have so many dogs to exercise and a wonky knee that makes it difficult to walk the dogs, I use a scooter. Roxie loves trotting beside me on the scooter and doesn’t pull at all. She is now accepting the leash around her neck much better.
Her nervous wetting has all but stopped.
Roxie’s a good girl with other dogs and loves to play, in and out of the water trough I have for the dogs, running around playing chasey etc.
Roxie has the makings of a truly wonderful girl I feel. Seeing the progress she’s made in only a matter of a week or so, is remarkable.
She’s in care with me at Moree, NSW.
Moree has daily flights to Sydney and further afield.
Dog road transport is another option.
Medical notes
Vet checked, a healthy girl.
