About Henry
Hello fellow hoomans, my name is Henry! I'm a gentle giant looking for the perfect person to share my fun life with.
I've learned so many new exciting things during my time in foster care. I love all dogs small or big, but I'm not too sure about these cats.. they are weird.
My favourite thing to do is run and go for walks with my foster parents. I have very good doggy skills and I get lots of treats because I know how to sit, lay, come, and stay and I am also toilet trained.
I prefer lots of cuddles and sleeping inside on my cosy bed whenever I get a chance, but I also love snoozing outside in the shade when I'm not playing with my kong toy.
My forever family will need to be very understanding and patient with me while I come out of my shell. I really haven't experienced much in my life before rescue so a lot of things scare me.
I would prefer a home with other doggo friends that I can spend more time with and learn from, but if not then I will still be happy having you by my side always. I will need a home with Adults Only.
Henry is currently undergoing a behaviour modification plan and his new owners will need to continue this.
**Application Process** When on the Pet Rescue profile push the "enquire about this pet" button. Follow the prompts to "send enquiry now" and in the message section please place information about the home you can provide. Include current/past pets and their breed, children including ages that live with you or visit, and any other information relevant to training/exercise/energy requirements. The information you provide helps us match the dog you've applied for to the most suitable home. We use this information in lieu of an application form. We do not take applications for dogs over the phone. We aim to reply to all applications within 5 business days. All of our dog meet and greets occur at the adoption center in Campbellfield. The majority of our dogs are in a foster home not at the shelter so you need to apply via the website to meet them. Thank you. www.secondchanceanimalrescue.com.au ...because they all deserve one!
