About Bella
Bella is a gorgeous Chihuahua x and is only 7 years young! She came to us when her owners were no longer able to care for her and with a large fatty lump on her side. She has now had the surgery to remove the mass and is looking all the better for it (apart from some scars and bald patches that WILL grow back!). Bella can be shy and can appear to be quite frightened however, warms to you very quickly and has never shown any signs of her fear turning to aggression. Bella will come running up to you for pats and attention but then sometimes shies away when you give it to her. She's happy to be picked up and cuddled though. Bella is currently in foster care with 2 large dogs and is unfazed by them, she's not a massive fan of the cats but tolerates them! Bella was tested with kids and seems to react to them the same way she does with adults - wants love and attention, just not sure what to do with it when she gets it! Bella appears to be toilet trained. She has been De-sexed, Vaccinated, Micro chipped, Wormed, Flea treated, Temperament tested and Vet checked. This gorgeous girl would love someone with time and love to give, she's a gorgeous soul once she come out of her shell. Her adoption fee is just $400.00
Medical notes
Had a large fatty lump removed from her side. All good and ready to go. Vet check complete
Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. Just phone us on 0428491492 (please call between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm) and have a chat, no long drawn out forms.
Even though you may be first to call, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
