About Millie
Hello, I'm Millie! I'm a wonderfully gentle Labrador/Cattle Dog cross with a sunny disposition and so much love to give.
My nickname is ‘Velcro’ because I love to be as close to you as possible - leaning against you or nudging hopefully for an extra pat. I am perfectly toilet trained and extremely well behaved. I sit patiently when you put the lead on and off, and I respond immediately when called.
One of my very favourite things is meeting new people, and my tail is often tired from the constant wagging! It’s so awesome being out and about with you in the big, wide world. I'm always content to sit in cafes or under your desk until you're ready to play :)
**We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at http://www.maggiesrescue.org/adoption-enquiry-dogs. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile.**
MY IDEAL HOME: I crave human contact, so as long as I can be close to you that's really all that counts!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Medium. I love to be walked and to roam free in the park, but I also enjoy chilling at home after my daily excursion.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I love kids and am really patient with them! They're such affectionate little creatures. I've been hanging out with a pair of 4- and 5-year-olds who adore looking after me - and I'm great at looking after them too :)
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I'm always on my best behaviour when I meet another dog! I haven't met any cats since coming into foster care, so we'll have to play that one by ear.

Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at http://www.maggiesrescue.org/adoption-enquiry-dogs. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in adopting.
Maggie's wants this to be a good experience for you, and we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog as your situation may not meet the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of this period we will transfer the microchip to your details and the adoption is complete.
Your pet is a Maggie's Pet for Life, please consider this before adopting.
