About Coby
Coby is a young, smoochy husky lad whose looks should, in our opinion, land him on the cover of GQ magazine.
White with big chocolate-brown eyes and a world of personality, Coby is looking for his furever home. He’s aged approx 8-9 mnths and is in the puppy stage of life still, so his new people will be able to play a big role in his training and shaping him into a well-behaved Very Good Boy.
Coby is packed with energy and is very affectionate, so he’d love a human to exercise with and learn lots of new tricks. Coby would also love a similar-sized doggy mate who will teach him good dog etiquette and manners (as well as help wear him out!).
Since coming into rescue from a country pound, he had learnt lots and would love someone who is keen to keep working with him. He’s learning to sit, is housetrained (will ask to go out if the door is shut), is learning that bitey face and zoomies are outdoor activities, that certain parts of the house are off-limits, and is getting to be pretty darn good on lead.
Coby loves a dip in his paddle pool and will chat if he wants to get (or share) fun and affection.
As he’s still a puppy, some good chew toys are recommended because he thinks socks and other items left lying around are pretty awesome to monch on. While he’s improving and learning, this is typical of his age and a gentle but clear and consistent person will get him sorted in no time.
Coby thinks thunderstorms are the universe coming to get him, so he needs somewhere safe to hide. He will also inhale his food but is learning to calm down at mealtimes. Right now, Coby can get a little stressed when he’s left home alone for long stretches, and we think that this will settle down with a doggy mate and a permanent home with people who love him.
Coby has all the ingredients to be a lovely husky and has his whole life, and all his love and affection, to give and we know he’ll make for an awesome companion. Coby is a very social boy and is looking for a home with another suitably active doggie companion.
The usual husky rules apply with secure, husky-proof 6ft+ fences and no cats or pocket pets.
