About Palmer and Hailey
Who’s looking for a lovely cross in a puppy, that is Labrador and cattle dog?
Palmer (female, white paws and chest), Hailey (female, brown tinge to her coat, blue on chest) and Freddo (male, brindle on legs, white chest) are such a cross.
Labradors crossed with any breed are always popular we find, as they make lovely pets for anyone.
I find it just as difficult as you to believe that anyone could dump these puppies in steel cages at the Pound in 45 degree heat, but that’s what they did.
By the time the Ranger rushed them out to me, their little tongues were hanging out with heat exhaustion.
Straight into a cool bath they went until they were comfortably cooled down and they haven’t looked back.
They’ve been vet checked each time they’ve visited the vet (three times - twice for vaccinations and once for desexing) and they’ve passed with flying colours, so they have a clean bill of health.
They are normal, playful, mischievous puppies who delight in untying my shoe laces. They love to play with the other puppies and the cats in foster care, though the cats aren’t too impressed.
They are accepting the leash gracefully and are learning other puppy niceties.
They are in foster care at Moree, NSW.
Moree has daily flights to Sydney and further afield.
Medical notes
Microchipped, two vaccinations and desexed.
