About Doc
Hi, they call me Doc. My carer tells me I'm a great dog! I learn your rules pretty quickly especially if treats are involved! I am happy around older kids (the very little ones are a bit full on for me!) I'm not a big fan of sharing too much space with other dogs; I get a bit bossy around them, so a home where I am Numero Uno doggy would be great! I really love my food (I was super lean when I first arrived) and I also adore squeaky toys! The more the merrier!
I get walked every day, which I really enjoy! I try not to pull on lead too much but I do get excited when I see other dogs so my foster Mum says I need some reminders to stay close to her and a good front harness or a halti would be a good idea. If I don't see other dogs around I behave myself! I do like the chase so they don't let me off if there are roos about! I also love playing with my humans and my toys in the yard.
I am house trained and my fave thing ever is lounging (and snoring apparently!) in the comfy armchair when I'm allowed! I will let you know when I want the toilet and I don't ever mark around the place... well that would just be rude!!
I like to call myself a good natured fella, I love people and I don't get grumpy even around food. I don't chew your stuff, but I like a Dentastix for my teeth, and I enjoy having my own toys to play with. I won't try to jump your fence, I'll be a happy and loyal dog if you can give me a comfy and loving home of my own!
Hopefully I'll find that place of my very own really soon! I am looking for a foster carer too so if you would like to put me up at your place for a bit, that would be great!
