Am I not the cutest thing you have seen?
Well, I’m not just good looks I have brains too!
I am Border Collie mix, so am very intelligent and have the traits of my working dog parents. I am always on hand quietly watching and waiting for when you need me.
My ears aren’t just for show either, I’ve been learning how to be a part of a family. I follow the lead of my two foster border collies, quickly learning instructors and have started to show I am full of personality. I love to cuddle and show my humans I love them.
I need someone that understands and will make the most of my breed, because I truely am a gem. With further training and love will grow into someone’s most loyal best mate!
Frankie only currently weights about 8kg and we believe he will only grow to about 12-15kg fully grown. His father is a pedigree papered Border Collie and mum was a Border Collie X Cattle Dog.
Medical notes
Frankie has/will have the following vetwork completed:
~ Desexed
~ 2 x Vaccinations (C5 & C5)
~ Microchipped
~ All-Wormed
~ Flea Treated
Adoption details
~ ADOPTION PROCESS ~
STEP 1: An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
** PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT DO INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS ** We require all animals to have a meet & greet with their new family before they are officially adopted, no exceptions. If you are willing and able to meet the dog in person, we are happy to accomodate the adoption.
STEP 2: If successful, our foster carer will be in touch within 24-48 hours.
STEP 3: A 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
STEP 4: The animal MUST not be taken on the day unless PRIOR ARRANGED (travelling over a 4 hr round trip), we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
STEP 5: A 10 day trial period commences once the animal has been collected from the foster carer.
STEP 6: The Adoption is the finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email after this period. Please note this can take up to 4 weeks pending on the microchip paperwork.
Sorry we can’t take calls, as our rescue is run entirely by volunteers, but we endeavour to respond to your email within 24 - 48 hours. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
** PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT HOLD ANY ANIMALS SO PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE READY TO ADOPT NOW. **
