Hi, I’m Cooper. I might look like I have a black beard, but at 4 months old I’m just a cheeky young boy who loves to play and entertain his foster carers. I believe it’s time now to find my adopted forever home, and show my new family all my funny little antics. And boy, do I love to smooch! I also love to be cleaned by my foster-brother from another mother. Oh, and my four favourite things to do? Sleeping, playing, smooching and eating. Not necessarily in that order.
I am now desexed, vaccinated and microchipped, and so happy to be saved by Pound Rescue Mackay, I just might somersault off the nearest chair!

If you are interested in meeting one of our animals we would love to hear from you.
Please email us at poundrescue@yahoo.com with your phone number, a brief description of the family home you can offer - the number of adults and children in the home, other pets, how long the animal would be left on its own each day, whether your fencing is secure and so on. PLEASE REMEMBER TO INCLUDE YOUR PHONE NUMBER IN YOUR EMAIL TO US.
We try and answer all enquiries asap but you are welcome to follow up your email with a phone call to Mariette on 0404491918 or Debra on 0412 698 117. We will put you in touch with the animal's foster carer.
If an animal is adopted inter-state we can help organise transport . The cost of transport is paid by the adopting family.
All our animals are desexed, vaccinated, wormed and microchipped. Our adoption fee covers our basic costs.
