Hi guys, I’m Nugget! I’m a beautiful big boy who is very kind and gentle. I love pats and belly rubs and watching you cook in the kitchen.

As lots of things are new to me, I am quite cautious and can be a bit nervous when new people approach, especially some men. You'll need to be patient and let me adjust to new people slowly, but once you’re my friend, I love seeing you and can’t wait to spend time with you! I'm a very loving pup.

I look forward to our morning walks everyday and love our playtime in the afternoon and evening. I am new to the lead and sometimes shy away from it, but getting better each day. I am learning lead manners and doing pretty well, but can get distracted by all the different smells so need some help keeping on track. I am a tall boy and can be a bit head strong, so a confident person who is comfortable walking a large dog would be best for me and my learning.

I am very quickly picking up how to be an inside dog; I get treats and pats when I go to the toilet outside, so I do it nearly all the time now! I am great at knowing where I am allowed to go in the house and where I have to stay out of. I prefer being inside with you, but I also wait patiently outside lazing in the sun while you’re at work. I love having chew toys to chomp on, and I'd love to be included in lots of activities with you.

I may not be suited to little ones due to my size, but I do like older kids who can be patient with me and respect my reluctance of new situations. I haven’t been tested with cats and aren't suited to small animals.

If you ask my foster family what they love most about me, they would say my cute snoring and my gentle sniffs to let you know that we’re good friends!
