Rhapsody is a young boy and a 30 kg lap dog wannabe. He is a super sweet but easily excitable pup who is looking for a strong and confident owner.
A very loyal pup, Rhaps suffers from significant separation anxiety- which he has been working on while in care, but will require lots of understanding and patience to help him through this to become a well-balanced adult dog. He has also been practicing his obedience training and understands basic commands such as dinner time, here, sit, on your bed and can I have that please. He has also learnt to walk calmly by your side with a halti when he goes out and about.
Rhapsody has great taste in shoes – his favourite brand is Nike- so be prepared to have a strong box to keep them in and to have lots of chew things around the house to keep this teething puppy occupied.
Rhapsody loves water, loves to play tug of war and chasey with his foster brother for hours, and adores food – especially the human stuff that’s left on the bench or on the kitchen table.
Rhapsody is best suited to a home that is:
Committed to continuing his training (Starting Over Dog Rescue will provide support with this!)
Can provide a generous amount of daily exercise.
Will give Rhapsody lots of stimulating toys and games to keep his mind off chewing your shoes.
And has an active playful doggo to keep him company if you’re not home.
Rhapsody would suit a home with older or no children due to his size and excitement levels.
Located Phillip Island.
