About Pip
Meet Pip!
This gorgeous boy came to SAFE Esperance after he was surrendered by his owner, and is now looking for a place to call home.
He has settled well into care and is very friendly with other dogs. We would recommend that he goes to a home with no cats or small animals, and he would thrive in an only dog household, as he loves human company and has bonded very quickly to his carer. He can be a little wary of strangers but soon comes round when he realises that they mean him no harm. Pip is very friendly with calm and gentle children, and loves to play with them, especially little girls.
Pip is housetrained and walks well on the lead. He knows some basic commands and tricks, and would benefit greatly from some ongoing training. He loves to play with toys but can be a little possessive of them with other dogs.
He loves to go for a walk, and will need a home where he's taken for a walk at least once per day. Pip also loves to travel in the car with you - he will lie quietly on the seat and doesn't mind sitting in a foot well if all the seats are taken.
Pips ideal home will be with someone who is home for a lot of the day to keep him company, possibly with another similar sized, female dog depending on meet, but he will be more than happy as an only dog. He needs a decent sized, secure yard to run around and he needs to be able to sleep inside at night.
