Who's the waggiest boy of them all?
Things you've gotta be on board with when it comes to our boy Jackaroo
1. He will hug you like a human. I mean, solid eye contact before his head's on your chest/shoulder and his paws on your arm.
2. There are a thousand shades of gold and they all reside in his eyeballs and he will use them to melt you
3. He will learn things quickly, so you gotta be prepared to challenge this boy, because he wants to learn and to please you (and then cuddle some more)
4. His tail is a metronome, smacking back and forth so constantly and at a rate that could be harmful to those who suffer from motion sickness. Keep the plant pots off the floor or they be wagged outta here
Hi, I'm Jack, a gorgeous chicken nugget of a pup with the purest heart and the muddiest paws.
I had the saddest eyes when I came to my foster home, now LOOK AT ME! A bit of consistency, a lot of reassurances and an awful lot of affection and I am a new man. From the second I see you walk through that door my tail is pounding, I'm talking Beyonce bum wiggles I'm just so delighted to see you! You can rest assured the yard is okay, I'm not a destructive fella and haven't been running riot whilst you've been out.
I love playing in the muck with other pups, sometimes I start out a little bit agro, I'm not aggressive but can be a bit full on temporarily, I calm down in no time.
I had a few accidents when I first arrived and I don't like going outside on my own, even to go to the bathroom, so my new family would need to be aware that they need to establish a solid toilet routine and potentially some more training, mainly involving recognising signals and cues.
I'm good on the lead and with the halti, get a bit scared when it's time to go in the car and have great manners around the home. I'd fit in nicely with practically any home environment, will lie down at any given moment (as close to you as possible of course) and have the most ridiculous sleeping positions. It took a bit of training but now I'll sleep in or out of the crate, no dramas
I sit, stay and drop for my food, I'm the goodest boy who will keep eye contact until you say its okay to go for it.
My biggest fear is abandonment, not that I'm not okay being left alone for a while, just that I need to FEEL like I'm home
My dream is to one-day be allowed to ride the lawnmower, no luck yet
