About Lexie
Lexie is a sweet girl who aims to please, she came to us with some issues around food which we have been working on. She now eats around the other dogs supervised without any issues. Lexie plays well with other dogs and cats as long as they don’t run. She is well behaved inside and is happy to lay down beside you, she loves cuddles and treats. She has good manners, sits, waits, walks well on a lead. Lexie will need continued training and supervision around food and other dogs to ensure that she continues to improve in that area. A home without cats would be recommended as she can get fixated on them and will chase if they run. If you would like anymore info on Lexie please fill in an app and chat to our carers.

OUR ADOPTION PROCESS
1. You see a dog you like.
2. Fill in our online adoption form by clicking here or on our website. Be sure to include any questions you may have on our adoption form. This form does not obligate you to adopt, it simply gives us an idea of your situation and needs.

3. If your are successful, one of our volunteers will contact you to organise a meet and greet at your home and conduct a yard check at the same time.
4. Should all go to plan, you will be welcomed to start your 2 week trial period immediately. Adoption fee will be required to be paid at the beginning of the trial period.
During the 2 week trial period, should you decide that this dog is not for you, you are welcome to return the dog (the more notice the better, to ensure we have a foster carer available) and your payment will be retunded to you in full, within 3 business days of the return of the dog.

We are a volunteer run organisation, who have their own jobs during the day, we don't have someone manning our phones 24/7, therefore cannot respond to all inquiries immediately. The fastest way to have your questions answered is to include it in the application form. This will speed up your application with us, and help us communicate with you faster.
Please be patient with us, as the unpredictable nature of rescue may prevent us from clearing all enquiries regularly.
