About Foxy
Name: Foxy
Breed: Border Collie X Cattle Dog
Age: 5 months
Sex: Female
Dog Friendly: Yes
Child Friendly: Yes
Cat Friendly: Unknown
Toilet Trained: In training
Location: Seventeen Mile Rocks, QLD
When Foxy first came to her carer she was very shy and timid but after showing her lots of love and affection she opened up straight away into a beautiful, happy and loving little pup.
Foxy is full of energy and loves to play. She loves her big brother Chester, sometimes a little too much but he has been teaching her. She's starting to recognize her name and basic commands but still has some training to go.
Foxy only currently weights about 8kg and we believe she will only grow to about 12-15kg fully grown. Her father is a pedigree papered Border Collie and mum was a Border Collie X Cattle Dog.
Foxy will thrive with a family that is willing to give her the attention and time she deserves. She is extremely smart and will need a very active family.
Medical notes
Foxy has/will have the following vetwork completed:
~ Desexed
~ 2 x Vaccinations (C5 & C5)
~ Microchipped
~ All-Wormed
~ Flea Treated
Adoption details
~ ADOPTION PROCESS ~
STEP 1: An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
** PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT DO INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS ** We require all animals to have a meet & greet with their new family before they are officially adopted, no exceptions. If you are willing and able to meet the dog in person, we are happy to accomodate the adoption.
STEP 2: If successful, our foster carer will be in touch within 24-48 hours.
STEP 3: A 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
STEP 4: The animal MUST not be taken on the day unless PRIOR ARRANGED (travelling over a 4 hr round trip), we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
STEP 5: A 10 day trial period commences once the animal has been collected from the foster carer.
STEP 6: The Adoption is the finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email after this period. Please note this can take up to 4 weeks pending on the microchip paperwork.
Sorry we can’t take calls, as our rescue is run entirely by volunteers, but we endeavour to respond to your email within 24 - 48 hours. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
** PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT HOLD ANY ANIMALS SO PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE READY TO ADOPT NOW. **
