About Mellow
If looks are your thing... then look no further than Mellow! A German Shepherd x Swiss Shepherd, Mellow was born on 28th April, 2017 and is looking forward to finding her forever home.
Mellow is an affectionate kinda gal who loves to be in your company. After a long day, she likes nothing more than to place her head on your lap for a spot of tv and a nap.
She adores playing and will spend as long as you like chasing toys around with you. She is also happy to potter around beside you as you go about your day.
Mellow is a little bit of a nervous kinda gal when first meeting her but once she gets to know you, she will love you like no other! Her new home should be aware that she will require a little patience and gentle understanding with boundaries while settling into her new home.
Mellow would be best suited as an only dog in the household as she would love all of your attention focused on her (and with looks like hers, who could blame her!?) Although she also seemed to be a little too focused on pocket pets, she did seem to test well with cats and with a proper introduction could be rehomed with cats in residence.
While she is enjoying being out for a walk, Mellow has previously not had a lot of training and is still learning her lead manners and road sense. With a regular routine, this should improve, however we have included 3 x free training lessons in her adoption fee with thanks to Wyong Dog Training.
Mellow shows no signs of food aggression, however she is quite frightened by loud noises and would need to be allowed inside during thunderstorms and fireworks.
Mellow is an absolute delight and would make a super loyal companion for the right family. She is a stunning lady who would love to be in a home where she is included as a member of the family and is involved in the day to day activities.
Mellow's adoption fee is $450 and includes her desexing, vaccinations and lifetime registration. Mellow is also regularly treated for flea and worms.

Adoption details
Please phone or email us to find out more information on our animals. You will be asked to fill in a questionnaire. This questionnaire is confidential and does not oblige you to adopt, or guarantee you the animal. The information you provide helps the facility to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home.
Once the questionnaire and any questions you may have are approved and answered, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the facility unless prior arrangements are made by management.
After the meet and greet, a yard check will be completed at your home to ensure that your home and yard is suitable for the kind of pet you are interested in.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
