Charlie

After a life time of living in an animal research facility Charlie has finally been retired and is waiting for her very first family to come and take her home.

Charli is 6 and a half years old and full of life. A happy-go-lucky girl, she is shy at first as she is getting to know all her new and strange surroundings, as well as all the new people. Charlie is still learning all about this new world she has found herself in so she will thrive with patient and calm people to help her. She is happiest when she is near or around water or when she can sit and gaze at her favourite humans. She loves every and all other dogs and is a complete joy to be around. We’d love to see her in a home with at least 1 other dog of similar age to keep her company and help share the love.

Charli is looking for a family with large dog experience, with secure fencing and no small children or cats. Charli is not the type of dog that can be let off lead outside of the family home, she is a scent hound and their natural instinct is to follow a scent, no matter how well trained they may be. She must sleep indoors with her family and having grown up in a research facility, she is not fully toilet trained, she will need further encouragement to learn.
