About Bantam
After a life time of living in an animal research facility Bantam has finally been retired and is waiting for his very first family to come and take him home.
Bantam is confident and courageous, he isn’t shy when meeting new people or dogs but can be a bit unsure of new environments, he quickly gets his bearings and is excited to explore and scent out all the new smells. He is coming up to his 10th Birthday and is looking to spend it lounging around and being spoilt. He acts much like a 6 year old though and can be stubborn in a most loving way! We would love to see him in a home where he is the only dog so he can get all the love to himself, all the attention he’s missed out on for the first 10 years of his life. He is great with all dogs, but prefers to have his humans all to himself and who can blame him! He is loving, affectionate and Majestic and deserves the best humans we can help find him.
Bantam is looking for a family with secure fencing and no small children as he hasn’t spent time with them before. Bantam is not the type of dog that can be let off lead outside of the family home, he is a scent hound and their natural instinct is to follow a scent, no matter how well trained they may be. He must sleep indoors with his new family and be part of his humans lives. So if you think you have the patience and love to share with Bantam, then please fill out our adoption application form ,http://www.beaglerescuevic.org/adoption.php you will be rewarded with love and loyalty beyond your wildest dreams
