About Digby
Handsome purebred, short haired Border Collie boy Digby, didn’t quite make the grade as a working dog. He was just too kind to the cattle and wasn’t forceful enough, so sadly, he had to make way for his replacement.
Fortunately, my husband was there to offer Digby the chance at finding a home where he wouldn’t be expected to work cattle all day in the heat.
Digby is an all round lovely boy, he’s friendly, very well socialised so he knows how to get along nicely with other dogs and is a well mannered boy.
When he’s on leash and you stop walking, he’s happy to sit or lie down and wait for the walk to resume, which did make it difficult to get a photo of him standing though! Digby’s not overactive and will only require a moderate amount of exercise.
Digby comes to the poultry house with us and makes no attempt to go for the chickens.
He’s a light framed boy, so if you ever need to lift him for any reason, it’s quite do able.
Digby will hop into the car or on the back of a Ute and loves being driven around. He doesn’t mind the home comforts of his foster home either.
If you can offer Digby the chance that he’s waiting for, we would love to hear from you.
Digby is in care at Moree, NSW.
