About Andy
I'm trying a new home to see if i like it. Andy is just dandy! he is a sweet natured little dog with a loving personality, a laid back attitude to life and he has very endearing party trick. . . . Andy 'claps' his paws and, when he does, boy is he irresistible! andy is in foster care with a family with children (10 and 14 years) and a little female shih tzu and has taken to family life like a duck to water. Andy's foster mum says he is a superb dog who is just so easy to have around and a clever boy who quickly settled into the household routine. Andy has lovely house manners, is housetrained, can use a doggy door, walks well on the lead, sleeps all night without a fuss, eats whatever is put in front of him and is very obedient and responsive to commands. He is not a barker or digger and is not demanding of attention but will lap up as much love and affection as you want to give, especially if it involves sitting on an available lap for cuddles and tummy rubs. Andy is a house dog, his coat is low shedding and requires regular grooming and clipping several times a year to keep him comfortable and looking good. He would do well in a family environment (children 7 years and older) and loves to spend time with his foster family and will follow them around. Andy would be fine as an only dog provided he is not left alone for long periods. If his new family are out of the house most of the day with work and school then the company of another dog is a must and a small female with a similar easy going temperament would make the most suitable companion for little andy. Andy comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, heartworm tested and with nsw local council lifetime registration for $350.
