About Odin ~ Staffy x (on trial 29/3/2019)
This handsome boy is Odin, a 2 year old Staffy cross. Odin is sweet natured, loving and caring, he just wants to be with people, get pats and be told he is a “good boy.” Odin has been extremely affectionate and loving to his foster family in the short time that he has been there. Odin’s foster parents believe that he is the perfect mix of playful, energetic, sweet and loving.
Odin’s foster parents have been extremely impressed with how quickly he has responded to training. There is still some work to be done and any potential adopters should be prepared to put in the time and effort to continue Odin’s training. However, Odin has very quickly learnt how to sit, shake, and lay down. Odin is learning how to behave on his lead and is getting very good at not pulling and staying by his foster carer’s side. Odin is house trained and is happy inside or outside.
Odin is not a nuisance barker, and does not bark when the other dogs in the neighbourhood are. Odin only barks at strangers attempting to enter the house.
Odin has been extremely friendly with all other dogs (big and small) that he has come into contact with on his walks. Odin is extremely playful with other dogs and would love to have another furry friend to live with but would be better suited to live with a larger dog as he is very strong. Odin appears to be a little weary around small children (loud screams particularly). As he is quite boisterous, he would be best suited to a home without small children as he could easily knock them over.
Odin is a playful ball of fun and does not let having one eye slow him down a bit. Odin was brought in as a stray to the pound and the cause of his eye injury is unknown.
For more information or to meet Odin, please contact his foster carer Sophie on 0402 933 208 or email sophie.varcoe@hotmail.com Odin is in foster care in Gateshead, NSW (Lake Macquarie, south of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Odin’s adoption fee is $350 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime reqistered.
