About Caesar
Well howdy, my name is Caesar.
I was surrendered to Lort Smith as my previous carers could no longer look after me. You see, I was a little silly and decided to eat something I shouldn't have and it left me with a very upset tummy. The lovely staff and volunteers here at Lort Smith have nursed me back to health and I am now ready to find my new home.
My ideal home would be with a strong and confident handler that is willing to put in the time and effort to work on improving my manners and take me to obedience training.
I am still getting used to new environments, people and other animals, so will need help from my new humans on building up my confidence. I can get a little worried and tend to bark and react to things I have not had much exposure to. I just need time to get used to the big wide outside world.
A home with no young children would be the best fit for me as I do not want to accidentally knock them over.
I do get along well with other known dogs in the shelter and can walk nicely with them. They actually help me with my confidence and I am less reactive when walking with them. If I were to be rehomed with another doggo, they would have to be confident, calm and know how to play appropriately.
If you feel you may be able to provide me with what I need, please call the Adoption Hub to find out a little bit more about me and to book in a meet and greet.
