Hi guys, Axl is my name! I'm definitely a favourite around this place with staff and volunteers! I'm just a sweet little chap who has a lot of love to give. When I came here I was very scared and timid but my friends here (human and dog friends) helped me come out of my shell and now I'm a confident boy who is ready for the next chapter of my life! Having said that, I may need a little time to settle in my new home as it will be a very big change for me.
I came here with some skin and ear issues and I didn't like having my baths or ears cleaned so went through some desensitizing training. I've come a long way but you will need to continue with my training so I don't go backwards.
I love my food and will do anything for a treat! I can't wait to learn new tricks! I love walks and like meeting new dogs but please don't put me in a situation where dogs jump all over me, I don't like that! I'm a chilled fella and my human friends here say I'm a very good boy, plus very handsome!
I love attention and cuddles and cannot wait to find my perfect family!
I can live with older kids and would do best in a home with no smaller animals or livestock but could potentially live with a calm female dog pending a meet. Please come meet me if you think I will complete your family.
