About Licorice
My name is Licorice, I am the leader of the tortie crew. But do not let my tough exterior fool you, I am the biggest softie. I love scratches and if you get me in the right spot I will just turn into a floppy lump on your lap with my eyes closed and purring my head off. I also hug my foster mummys leg as she is getting food ready as I do love food.
I am playful and love to chase my foster brothers and sisters around the house to make them play with me, but my favourite trick is to fly through the sky as I love to show off my acrobatic tendencies
I have the loudest purr that sounds like a jet engine starting up, and once it is on it takes a while to shut down. I start to purr as soon as my two legged food bearer comes near me. I am always the first to meet my foster mummy as she walks in the door and trot around following her as she is pottering around the house.
I am always on the go and love to be the centre of attention. My foster mummy is always laughing at me as my ears are always moving so that I can make sure I do not miss out of any adventure, and as soon as I hear it I am off like a shot to make sure that I do not miss out on anything.
All Little Paws kitties come to you vet checked, desexed, vaccinated, micro chipped, wormed, flea treated and litter trained. As we are a rescue group, the adoption fee is not negotiable. Little Paws kitties are indoor or cat enclosure only and must go to homes that intend them to stay that way, for their safety and health and for the environment. It is our foster carer’s choice as to which home a kitty goes to. We match kitties to their new family; we do not necessarily “sell” to the first caller. As our foster carers are all volunteers raising kitties in their own home, we would appreciate a call if you cannot make an appointment.
