Prince ~ 4 month old Foxie (on trial 5/2/2019)

Hi everyone! My name is Prince and I'm a 4 month old Foxie. My foster Mummy and Daddy always tell me I'm a perfect little man. I'm just starting to walk on a leash with a harness on also. I'm getting pretty good at it but with further training I'll be a star!

I know 'sit' and will sit for teats and my dinner but being a puppy I sometimes get over excited and have to be told a few times to sit but I just need your patience and time.

I have my toilet training pretty well down pat but again, being a puppy, I do still have the odd accident inside so I need to keep up my training and this will also require time and patience.

I love going for car rides but must always wear a harness with my own seatbelt for safety. I love playing with you and especially love rope toys, they are my favourite! I'm not fazed by the 2 quarrions that live in my foster home but they haven't been out the cage around me so I'm not sure how I'd react to a bird right in front of me but I do absolutely love the little human that comes and stays every fortnight, (10 yr old).

Finally, at 3 months old I had a traumatic incident causing me to come into care. My litter mate was mauled and had to be put to sleep and I got attacked too but my Foster Mummy and Daddy think I got out of it by going limp. When I first came to my foster home I wouldn't move much at all and would scream whenever anyone tried to pick me up. I wouldn't play with my foster sister either (Kelpie x), I was very scared. Now, just a month later, I play with Bonnie as if I've always known her and I love to be picked up. I will also sleep on your bed if you would let me.

I need the person who adopts me to understand I will definitely need some time to fully settle in. I do not like small dogs, my Foster Mummy and Daddy think because a small dog caused the trauma/incident. I would probably need a couple meetings with a bigger dog to start to get comfortable with them. Being an only dog would be ok too and someone who can spend a lot of time with me, play with me and just give me a good life.

So please will you adopt me? I promise to love you and be your best friend forever.

As Prince is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because he'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when he's approximately 5 months old.
