Oh hello there Dash! This little dude came into SAFE's care after being surrendered to the Vet when his family were unable to pay for his vet treatment. Dash was unvaccinated and unfortunately due to no fault of his own caught the virus parvo. SAFE wanted to give Dash a chance so underwent treatment and he pulled through! Happy, healthy and ready for a family, he awaits someone he can shower with love! He is a Dachshund X with his stumpy little legs, he is under knee height and will only stay small. Although Dash is small, he is energetic and full of energy, needing a family willing to exercise and train as he will be cheeky if left in the yard and is very much a people person. Older children are preferred as Dash is jumpy and forget to be gentle when overly excited however being a puppy he is still learning. He doesn't mind dogs but would also cope being the only doggy companion at home as long as he isn't left for long periods of time. Currently in a foster home with a cat, he tries to sneak up on her to play, even when he says no, he will do anything to follow her around. Dash is boss and loves attention and won't leave you alone until you give it to him. He is bright, bubbly and super affectionate. Awaiting his family.
