About Popsicle ~ Terrier x puppy (on trial 10/2/2019)
Popsicle is a beautiful 8 week old, female Terrier x puppy who loves to play with her toys and siblings and loves to cuddle with you and get belly rubs while watching TV.
Popsicle is a very healthy, happy puppy. She has been living with 6 other dogs so would love another small friendly dog to play with. She needs a family who is home most of the time, but due to her small size is not available to families with children under 8 for her safety. Her new home needs good fencing with no gaps under fences or gates and no rural fencing eg. mesh or wire.
Like all puppies, Popsicle likes to chew things including fingers and toes. She is learning house training and this needs to be continued in her new home with reward training. Popsicle is to be a house dog and part of the family and we always recommend puppy school when fully vaccinated. All puppies and dogs need plenty of love, affection, exercise and training.
Popsicle’s sister Teeny is also available for adoption.
As Popsicle is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because she'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when she's approximately 5 months old.
For more information or to meet Popsicle, please contact her foster mum at debbie_morphett@bigpond.com. Popsicle is in in care in Beresfield, NSW (Newcastle area).
Popsicle's adoption fee is $650 and includes her desexing (when old enough), first 2 vaccinations and microchipping and she's been treated for fleas and worms. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Medical notes
Happy and healthy puppy.
As Popsicle is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because she'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when she's approximately 5 months old.
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
