About Coco
Introducing the the amazing Coco. This beautiful girl has so much zest for life it’s infectious. She is super happy and enthusiastic about everything - playing, snuggling, chatting, dinner time, snoozing. Everything she does, she does it with 100% commitment and passion.
In addition to her passion for just about everything, she is a smart wee pup too. She mastered the ‘sit’ and ‘drop’ commands in a matter of hours and is working on ‘stay’ and ‘shake’. She has just started sleeping through the night and knows to go to the toilet outside. There is the odd accident inside but she is still a wee pup. Coco is learning to walk on the lead and getting the hang of it slowly, although her long legs trip her up sometimes.
When it comes to a furever family, Coco would love one with an active lifestyle who include her in activities. She’d love visits to the beach, trips to the dog park, a daily walk or run. A playful desexed male dog friend would be ideal as Coco just loves to wrestle and play. As Coco is just a pup, her new family will be committed to helping her grow and learn in a positive environment.
This sweet and loving girl will make the most amazing companion for the luckiest of people.
Coco is available for meet and greets but no pickups can take place until after 2nd vaccination and desexing operation on or about 15th Feb 2019

ADOPTION:

Completing this application form does not place you under any obligation to adopt.
Safe Haven Animal Rescue Inc have a 10 day trial/settling period, if for any reason the pet needs to be returned, we will happily take them back into our care once a foster home is found and the adoption fee minus $50 (admin fee) will be returned via bank transfer within 5 working days. If the pet is returned after the trial period there will be no refund made.
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
2. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
3. The animal MUST not be taken on the day unless PRIOR ARRANGED (travelling over a 2 hr round trip), we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
4. 10 day trial period commences once the animal has been collected from foster carer.
5. Adoption is finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email.
