Tess

Hi my name is Tess, and I'm a Harrier Hound. I am approximately 4 - 5 yrs old and weigh only 16kgs. I've recently retired from working as a sniffer dog, so I'm ready for a normal dog life now.
I'm a very sweet young lady, and just love to cuddle with you on the lounge and I have very good manners too. I will sit and wait for my dinner, or anything else that maybe going. I haven't found my bark yet, but my foster mum thinks that is a bonus (whatever that is). My foster mums neighbour didn't even know I was here - score! I can be a little shy at first, but give me a few minutes and I will soon warm to you.
I currently live here with my big dopey foster brother Thor the ACD, he likes me and is always trying to get me to play with him, but because I've been a working dog, I'm not really sure how to do that yet, but we are trying.
I'm not fond of loud noises and will hide if I can, but I do love a car rides and hop in quite easily. I also like to sniff a lot on my walks, but hey, that's my job! Did I tell you I like to cuddle?
The best part of the day is when my mum comes home from work and I get to come inside and run about and get lots of pat's and hugs - told you I liked to cuddle!
I think I would be happy to be an only dog, but just as happy to have a friend who is as laid back as me, so a meet and greet would be awesome. I'd love to be part of the family and really would like to be an inside/outside dog, coz I love to be where you are, but just as happy to chill outside when you're at work and do my other favourite pass time, sleep - for a working dog, I am pretty lazy.
Kids would be OK, but younger kids maybe a little too full on, so a couple or people with older kids would be ideal peeps.
