About Jack
Let’s introduce our latest bundle of cuteness! His name is Jack - a 3yo Maltese X weighing in at 5kg. He is a friendly personable little chap who gets on with people and dogs. He did live with birds and guinea pigs but untested with cats. Not good with young children/toddlers.
Since being with his foster carer he has learnt how to use a doggy door, toilet on command, sit and stay before eating, sign language for sit and other basic commands. He is a pleasure to bath in the laundry sink - so well behaved. He whimpered a bit in the car but is getting much better with more drives. He does need extra training walking on lead.
Jack is a companion animal and would suit a household where people are home during the day. He wouldn’t mind having another doggy playmate.
Jack is $475 and available for a 14 day trial with a fully refundable deposit of $50 if things don’t work out.
Adoption details
Fraser Coast Animal Rescue house all our dogs in care with foster carers in family homes. This allows the dogs to experience life in family situations with other dogs, cats, children, chooks and various other domestic animals. This gives us an opportunity to discover their traits and personalities, likes and dislikes, and which dogs would suit which family dynamics.
We offer a 14 day trial period for all potential adoptees so they can see if the dog they have chosen is a fit with their family situation. There is a $50 refundable deposit paid on the commencement of the trial period, which comes off the balance of the adoption fee should you wish to formally adopt your chosen dog. If you decide that the dog doesn't fit with your family, the dog will be returned into foster care, and the full balance of the deposit is refunded to you with no fees or charges.
If you wish to arrange a meet and greet with one of our dogs in care, please call Dianne on 0400346347 or email dianne.north@hotmail.com
The committee and carers of Fraser Coast Animal Rescue are all volunteers, so please be patient with us if we don't answer your enquiries straight away.
