Hi there! I'm Peanut. How cute am I? I'm an energetic little boy and I love to have fun. I had a bit of a rough time before I came to SAFE so I'm not too sure around other animals yet. But I'm having a great time in my foster home and I'm getting braver because only good things happen here. Check out the heart shaped spot on my side. You'd better watch out, because I might steal yours!

Want to know more about how you teach a pup to be a great dog? I'd like daily training so that I learn and practice the commands of sit, stay, come, down, no, stop and leave it; and so I always obey what you tell me to do. Consistent, clear boundaries will mean that I know the right way to behave. Socializing with lots of people, dogs and other animals is important too. Exercising at least once a day is vital for me to stimulate my brain and body, creating opportunities for me to socialise, plus it tires me out! That's after I've been fully vaccinated, and the vaccine has had time afterwards to take effect, of course! Tell me "no" if I'm chewing something I shouldn't and give me a chew toy instead. We puppies like to have a range of chew toys that you can swap around so we don't get bored with them.
