Hi there, I'm Parson. I'm very cute and playful and am looking for someone to love forever. I love other dogs and just want to play with everyone and anyone. I live outside most of the time and when I go inside, I'll fuss all over you then fall asleep at your feet. My foster carer has been training me and is amazed at how far I've come in a few weeks. I love food and will do anything you ask for a treat! After a few practices on the lead I've already got the hang of it - I really am a quick learner. When it's dinner time, I'll sit and wait when told before I get stuck in! We've been practicing sit, lie down and wait. I don't dig or bark in the garden but I live with my foster sister and another dog so there's always lots of fun to be had and we all get on great and are very polite with each other - even when there's food around.. Want to know more about how you teach a pup to be a great dog? I'd like daily training so that I learn and practice the commands of sit, stay, come, down, no, stop and leave it; and so I always obey what you tell me to do. Consistent, clear boundaries will mean that I know the right way to behave. Socializing with lots of people, dogs and other animals is important too. Exercising at least once a day is vital for me to stimulate my brain and body, creating opportunities for me to socialise, plus it tires me out! That's after I've been fully vaccinated, and the vaccine has had time afterwards to take effect, of course! Tell me "no" if I'm chewing something I shouldn't and give me a chew toy instead. We puppies like to have a range of chew toys that you can swap around so we don't get bored with them.
