Chipper

Chipper aka Chippy is a happy chap and always excited to see me. He loves to play and snuggle. He's a good learner, understanding sit and stay now, but needing some reminding when he is excited. He gets along well with my energetic 5-year old female dog. He has lots of energy. When ready for a sleep, he really wants to be close to me, so will generally be at my feet. He doesn't mind being outside but his preference is to be wherever his human friend is. He's getting there with his toilet training.

Want to know more about how you teach a pup to be a great dog? I'd like daily training so that I learn and practice the commands of sit, stay, come, down, no, stop and leave it; and so I always obey what you tell me to do. Consistent, clear boundaries will mean that I know the right way to behave. Socializing with lots of people, dogs and other animals is important too. Exercising at least once a day is vital for me to stimulate my brain and body, creating opportunities for me to socialise, plus it tires me out! That's after I've been fully vaccinated, and the vaccine has had time afterwards to take effect, of course! Tell me "no" if I'm chewing something I shouldn't and give me a chew toy instead. We puppies like to have a range of chew toys that you can swap around so we don't get bored with them.
