About Scotty
Greetings loyal subjects. Ahh, I mean potential adopters!
How, I hear you ask, could such an influential and, let’s face it, strikingly handsome Lord such as myself, be possibly on the search for a new servant?
Well gather round and I’ll tell you a tale of woe. You see, I have been very well provided for all my life (some would say spoilt even, but I care not for such a notion), by my current slave. Yes, slave. Folk often refer to slaves and servants as ‘humans’, but I will call it as I see it, slave.
I digress! My slave has doted on my every need all my life, he has always loved doing so. But then there were whispers, things were alluded to such as family breakdown, fallen on hard times, and then the sad realisation of being unable to care for me in the manner to which I am accustomed.
And so my search commences for a new loyal servant.
Now, dear subjects, I am not one to stereotype. However. Let’s say you’re a cardigan wearing, single librarian, mature in your ways, yet lacking the necessary cat hair on your lounge and wardrobe. Well, I can tell you now, you need me as your Lord and Master posthaste. You’ll never have realised how much you need me managing your life. In order for me to do so, I require a relatively quiet lifestyle and I absolutely do not want to share your affections with another cat. Nor any of those pesky, hairy dogs for that matter. You will find that I’m more than enough to make your life complete.
Now, you don’t want to miss out on such an opportunity, magnificent Lords such as myself rarely come along searching for new family estates to manage. I recommend you send an enquiry email immediately.
Until we meet, minion.
Cordially,
Lord Scotty, Magnificat.

This is in no way an obligation to adopt but simply gives us some more information about the home, family and lifestyle you have to offer a new pet.
As of 2017, Fresh Start Rescue are no longer placing dogs in homes with children under the age of 9 years old. We know this will frustrate many families looking to adopt, however for the safety of both those families and are beloved dogs, we have decided to put this measure into place.
