About Wilbur- Purrfect Match Cat Adoptions
If you love a big boofa then Wilbur is the one for you. He is a long haired Maine Coone lookalike.
Wilbur came into care back in 2014. We rescued him from a Sydney pound where he came in as a stray and he was in appalling condition. He was suffering from flu and his general health was in bad condition and his eyes were suffering. He was aggressive and scared in the pound but no wonder. After many vet consults it resulted in expensive entropion eye surgery but he recovered well.
Wilbur is approx 8yo and is now a sweet, affectionate and quiet boy. He often hangs his tongue out which gives him real personality. He is not fond of younger children because of his quiet personality so would not be suited to a family with young kids and he will need daily brushing. He has gorgeous pale blue eyes.
Located near Taree.
Adoption details
Trial periods are given to ensure the cat/kitten is the Purrfect Match for your situation and refund is available within the agreed trial period that is geared to suit the individual cat.
If a cat is being adopted sight unseen, as in distance adoptions, we do require a home check to ensure our cats safety.
After indicating your interest in a cat or kitten you wish to adopt we put you in contact with his or her foster carer. You can then organize a meet and greet.
If you decide to go ahead with the adoption you are required to complete the adoption form and transfer of microchip paperwork. The foster carer will have these documents for you to complete or they can be sent to you via email. Payment can be made via direct deposit or cash to the carer.
We have transport opportunities available from time to time.
Cats are sold desexed, first vaccination and micro-chipped. They will be up to date on their worming and flea treatment.
PLEASE NOTE: Unless other wise stated as in the case of BARN/FARM cats.. ALL our cats are for INDOOR HOMES ONLY or specially built cat enclosures.. We rescued them off the street and would think nothing worse that they be placed back there and in danger of all the perils of modern day society. Please respect our wishes with these requirements. We care about our cats and matching the cat to the adopter is important as is the home they are going to.
All ages of cats are an estimate only as per microchip paperwork supplied by council.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
