About Samson
Hi there!
My name is Samson and I'm a super sweet little dude. I was actually born in foster care after my mumma was rescued from a country pound while she was pregnant - this was pretty lucky for me because it means that I've never know the hardships of life on the streets. And I hope my whole life can stay that way!
First of all, I must go to a home where I will be a 100% indoors-only cat please (or with a completely secure cat run).
I've never been outside in my life but my mumma has told me lots of scary stories and it doesn't seem like a fun place to be. In the house with my family is my preference thanks!
I'm a pretty easy-going kitten - out of my litter, I'm the lazy one who always ends up asleep while the others are still playing. So I'm hoping for a home where I can snooze the days away.
Of course I love to run and jump and play too, like any kitten!
Moving to a new home and leaving my mum and siblings is going to be pretty scary for me so it's really important that my new family understands that I'll probably be very scared and nervous to start with - but that won't last long and soon I'll love my new family lots and lots.
I'm having all my vet work done on the 30th of January so I'll be ready to go to a home any day after that - but the sooner the better I think! I can't wait to start my new life.
Adoption details
Thank you for taking the time to view one of our lovely animals. We love them all and we hope you will too.
If you would like to know more about an animal please email us at avonvalley@safe.org.au. If it sounds like you and the furry creature are a suitable match then we will pass on the foster carer’s details to you so you can call and make a time to meet them.
Once you have met the animal and wish to go further then we may organise a yard check to ensure that your yard is safe and secure (dogs only). You can then take your new family member home on a 2 week trial and if you decide they are not suitable then you can return them.
If you are not sure how existing animals in your home might be affected, or you want a little extra time to get to know the nature of the animal, we may allow you to foster with a view to adopt.
